PE-DESIGN 10 Embroidery Machine Software

The new PE-DESIGN 10 software retains all the useful functions of the PE-DESIGN NEXT program. The developers have improved them, adding significant advantages. With the advent of PE-DESIGN 10 software, creating embroidery has become much easier, new features have appeared, such as importing vector EMF and SVG files, converting a design into an outline drawing, a function for creating patches, a function for creating cutwork, added chain stitch, net fill stitches, selector fabrics, guide lines and much more. Thanks to the new USB access key format, using the program has become much more convenient.

PE-Design 10: Basic commands and functions

* Setting multiple stitch directions – the term used in the embroidery world is “multiple stitch fill angles.” This feature has always been available in the Imitation of Hand Embroidery group tools, and starting from version 10 you can set multiple angles of stitch fill for objects created using the “Shapes”, “Outline”, “Rectangle/Circle/Arc” tools.
* Moving the reference point of the stitch pattern – this function allows you to move the starting point of the formation of such a stitch fill as the “Programmable Fill Stitch”, which makes working with this fill more flexible and convenient.
* Stitch Order Optimization – Automatically arranges the color sequence when sent to the machine to stitch multiple different designs.
* Convert to outline drawing – This function allows you to convert stitch objects created using the tools of the Outline group. Moreover, two selected objects can be converted either into a single object or into two different ones. In earlier versions of the program, only Stitches-Blocks conversion was possible
* Splitting a contour – When editing an object, it is now possible to divide it into parts at a specific selected point, which allows you to create open and closed objects
* New stitches – The list of available stitches now includes a chain stitch and a fill stitch, often used when filling cut out spaces in Richelieu and lace designs – mesh stitch
* Insert attributes – There is a function for saving the parameters of the selected object and assigning these parameters to other objects.
* Import (changes) – Ability to import drawings from Design Center as editable outline objects

PE-Design 10: Master assistant

When you start the program, an updated Wizard Assistant window will open in front of you. Now the user, without going to the main menu of the program, will be able to start working from a convenient place: open the last used design or template, start working with digitizing an image, set the hoop size, create a text inscription, etc. If the wizard assistant seems inconvenient to you, you can disable it, and if you wish, restore the assistant to start again.

PE-Design 10: New hoop size

A 240x360mm hoop has been added to the list of available hoops, which allows you to save a design of this size as a separate file without dividing.

PE-Design 10: Fabric selector – 10 TYPES

PE-Design 10 allows you to select the fabric under which the embroidery will be created. According to the selected template, the program will automatically determine the necessary settings for stitch fills.
There are several basic pattern options that determine the density of the stitch fill and the covering (reverse stitching). In addition to the settings, the “Fabric Selector” gives advice to the embroiderer on choosing the necessary stabilizers. Also, if desired, the user can save custom settings as a template and recall them when necessary.
